Inside our Iceland Crystal Cave Tours Ice Cave, your guide will tell you why the ice looks blue and answer any questions you have. It’ll feel like you’re in a real-life movie set!

After exploring the cave, you’ll walk back to the 4×4 and go back to where we started at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. It’s just you and the amazing beauty of Icelandic nature: a glacier ice cave! We can’t wait to show it to you!

Crystal Ice Cave Tour Itinerary:

During this 3-hour tour, you will set your sights on an incredible natural wonder, a crystal ice cave in Iceland!

First, you will find your way to our meeting location at the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon Parking Lot. Our 4x4 can be found to the RIGHT of the Cafe and restrooms where all of the tour operators line up.
Second, you’ll begin your Iceland Crystal Cave Tour with our licensed driver guide who will drive you to the edge of the Vatnajokull Glacier. The drive will take approximately 30-50 minutes depending on weather conditions.
Time to Gear Up! Your guide will provide you with crampons, helmet, and headlamp to use for inside the ice cave. Next, you’ll take a 15-30 minute hike across uneven rocky ground. Upon arriving to the Iceland Crystal Ice Cave, your guide will give you safety instructions.
Time to Explore! As you enter the crystal cave, your eyes will marvel over the sheer beauty and power nature has created. You’ll have 20-30 minutes to explore this stunning feature, savor it!
After discovering, you’ll hike the same way back and jump back into our 4x4 to be returned to the original meeting point. You’ll walk away inspired and accomplished knowing you got the opportunity to experience this once in a lifetime crystal ice cave in Iceland!
