Payment Policy
All prices are in Icelandic Krona. Products are guaranteed after full payment has been made. All refunds are made in Icelandic Krona. If the exchange rate has fluctuated between the time of purchase and when the refund is issued this might result in either an increase or decrease in the total amount refunded in your local currency.
Weather and Conditions
All our tours are dependent on weather and general conditions. Crystal Cave Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries and departure times and/ or cancel your trip without prior notice with your safety in mind. Our tours can be cancelled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions, on short notice. In such cases, a full refund is provided.
Cancellations
Crystal Cave Tours reserves the right to always keep a 10% payment fee to cover costs for the booking & rescheduling.
If you must reschedule or cancel the booking, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way we might be able to resell the seats.
Cancellations received less than 24 hours before tour departure, will not be refunded. This includes bookings made within 48 hours before departure. Also includes no refunds will be available for extras, add on’s, and rentals as well less than 24 hours.
If clients cancel their tour more than 24 hours before departure, a 100% refund will be given.
“No Shows” will not be refunded or rebooked.
Crystal Cave Tours reserves the right to cancel your trip with your safety in mind. The tours can be cancelled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions, on short notice. In such cases, a 100% refund is provided.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive later than 10 minutes after your tour start time you will be considered a “No Show” and will not be refunded or rebooked.
Participation
Participants must be in reasonably good health to embark on the Crystal Cave Tour they have booked.
Children (Under 18)
Children need to be 8 years old or older. All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Unless otherwise prearranged the adults need to provide their own car seat. Per Icelandic LAW: Children under 135 cm must use a child car seat when travelling in a car. Taller children are free to use car seats as long as the car seat is intended for children of that height and weight. Children under 150 cm must not sit in front of an active airbag. Travel Insurance
We recommend all our guests to have insurance. Each guest should buy trip or holiday cancellation insurance in addition to medical, personal and travel insurance.
Liability
Iceland Crystal Cave Tours are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Crystal Cave Tours holds no responsibility towards them if an accident occurs during a tour that can be traced to their own actions, actions of other participants on the tour or factors outside of human control.
Clothing
All guests should wear appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing. We reserve the right to refuse participation to customers who are dressed inappropriately or with inappropriate footwear since this will put the client’s well-being and safety at risk.
Alcohol and Drugs
We receive the right to refuse participation to guests in any activities who we believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such circumstances, no refund shall be given.
